I own Rubiks Inclusive Counselling Services.
Being neurodiverse gives me so much other perspectives and tools to work with . Previously I have worked on mental health units and in the community. I feel I have the knowledge and skill set to make positive changes to your life.

Hi, I am Shelley, a student counsellor at Rubiks.
Over the years I have faced many difficulties in my life and my mental health has suffered, with the right help and support I have overcome these issues and now have a very positive outlook on life.
I am fortunate that I am now in a position where I can use my own life experiences to help others who are struggling and provide coping mechanisms and support them on their own journey.
Hi, my name is Amy, a student counsellor at Rubiks and I am currently studying a BA (hons) counselling degree.
My background has been in youth support work, working with a diverse client group from the ages of 16 -21 who have become homeless. Working for several homelessness charities, I have gained experience in supporting young people to move towards independent living, helping them to manage and maintain their mental health and wellbeing during this process. I have experience of working with drug and alcohol issues, crisis intervention, mental health awareness and also child and adult social care.
I work with clients in an integrative way, which focuses on the client’s individual needs, and I feel this helps to create a tailored but flexible approach to therapy. Taking those first steps when seeking help can feel daunting, but with the right support and a safe space to open up, this can create an empowering environment allowing you to take these steps.
